• Location: Albuquerque, NM 87109
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week option
• Weekend Requirement: 4-6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,880-$1,980

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required; pending certifications may be considered
• Strong charting system experience required
• Experience with antepartum, triage, high-risk deliveries, vaginal delivery support, and C-section recovery
• Ability to work collaboratively in a patient-centered, fast-moving healthcare environment
• Experience with fetal monitoring and obstetrical patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery
• Assist with high-risk deliveries, vaginal deliveries, and C-sections
• Perform triage assessments for obstetrical patients
• Monitor fetal status using external fetal monitoring and EFM equipment
• Support antepartum care, recover C-section patients, and maintain safe, compassionate care throughout the shift
• Collaborate with respiratory, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams as needed
• Float to like units within scope when facility needs require it
