Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
• CPR certification required
• At least 1 year of recent RN experience required; Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective in urgent or changing situations

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process
• Support patients and families through labor, delivery, and postpartum-related care needs
• Monitor fetal and maternal status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient care thoroughly, clearly, and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with physicians, obstetric providers, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes
• Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the maternity care experience
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused environment
