**Join Our Team as a L&D RN - Nights!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of families? Join our dynamic team as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse! - **General Description:** - Provide direct patient care to women in labor, during delivery, and postpartum. - Offer essential care to newborns, ensuring a comprehensive maternal health experience. - **Responsibilities:** - Conduct thorough assessments and monitor the labor process. - Prepare for C-sections and inductions, ensuring proper documentation of nursing care. - Administer care during labor, post-delivery, and postpartum; provide vital patient education. - Prepare the delivery room and provide emotional support to patients. - Coordinate transfers as needed and administer IV medications. - Adhere to infection control principles and departmental policies. - Utilize your knowledge and/or interest in obstetrics and related equipment. - **Accountability:** - Report directly to the New Beginnings Birth Center Manager. - **Special Demands:** - Engage in long periods of standing and walking, along with heavy lifting. - Be prepared for exposure to blood, body fluids, and potential infectious diseases. - **Qualifications:** - **Education:** RN graduate with current Colorado licensure. Current CPR certification required. Neonatal Resuscitation Certification and ACLS within one year of employment. - **Experience:** 4 years of experience in Obstetrics care preferred. - **Skills:** - Knowledge of or eagerness to learn labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursing essentials. - Understanding of sterile technique and infection control principles. - Proficient in technical aspects of mother/infant care. - Ability to perform effectively in highly stressful situations. - Strong communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse range of people. - **Working Environment:** - Enjoy a full-time position working 36 hours per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. - Flexibility to rotate shifts and areas based on staffing and census needs. - On-call duties are required. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
