Tell us about the unit(s):
- Number of Beds – LDR 12 beds, 5 Ante Partum Beds, 4 OBED, 3 OR Rooms
- Number of Staff – 72 (nursing, CST, and schedulers)
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – (1 charge, 10 RN, 2 CST days, 1 scheduler)
- Night Shift - (1 charge, 10 RN, 1 CST night, 1 scheduler)
- Patient Ratios – 1:2 and 1:1 with transition and acuity based
- Type of equipment – Alaris Pumps, CADD epidural pumps
- EMR – CPN and Meditech
- Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) – Y
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs Certified Surgical Techs)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Certification CST
- At least 2 years' experience in High Risk OB
- Nurses with at least 3 years experiences in High Risk OB
- Current certification in Advance EFM/ AWHONN Intermediate EFM
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- High Risk OB including Massive transfusion
- Experience with PASD (placenta accrete spectrum disorders)
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- C-sections, SVD, D&C, D&E, twin deliveries with both c-section SVD
- Scheduled and nonscheduled emergent C-Hysterectomy
- Massive Transfusion

- Scrub Color - CST sky blue scrubs

- Main ED Level II Trauma that serves those obstetrical patients with Level I and Level II injuries
- Maternal Designation Level III and Neonatal Level II- both moving to next steps
- Joint Commission accredited in Women's
