Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – East Georgia Regional Medical Center
Location: East Georgia Regional Medical Center, Georgia
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW) required
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond to obstetric emergencies.
- Assist physicians with deliveries and perform newborn stabilization as needed.
- Float between departments within the Women's Pavilion based on staffing needs.
- Participate in the on-call schedule.
Call Requirements
- 2 x 12-hour call shifts every 6 weeks
- One call shift must be on a weekend
Minimum Requirements
- Active RN license (state requirements apply)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- At least 2 completed travel L&D assignments (required)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Ability to pass an EKG test
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- CPN certification preferred
