Tell us about the unit(s):
- Number of Beds - 29
- Number of Staff – 20
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 1 CNC/charge and 3-4 RNs
- Night Shift – 1CNC/charge 2-3 RNs
- Patient Ratios – 4-6:1
- Type of equipment - Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC Glucose monitoring
- EMR - Meditech / CPN
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Minimum 1-year current acute care Postpartum experience
- BLS & NRP
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- OB experience
- Med-surg experience
- GYN experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- Post-operative Gynecological surgeries, Urogynecology surgeries, ectopic pregnancies, high risk pregnancies requiring hospitalization (PPROM, Preeclampsia, Previa, PTL etc.)
- Fetal monitoring (NSTs), GYN oncology post op, women's health med-surg, post-partum NICU moms, or readmitted post-partum complications

- Patient care experience is a priority
