**Join Our Team as a Labor and Delivery RN!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey in maternal and newborn care? - We are seeking a talented and compassionate Labor and Delivery RN to provide exceptional nursing care in a dynamic and rewarding environment. - As a key player in our healthcare team, you will: - Utilize your nursing expertise to deliver routine and complex care for mothers and newborns. - Apply the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. - Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families, ensuring a holistic approach to care. - Administer medications and treatments, closely monitoring for effectiveness and side effects. - Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately. - Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers, guiding them through their healthcare journey. - We value leadership at every level: - You will embody the OneCHRISTUS Competencies as a Leader of Self, Others, or Leaders. - Make appropriate assignments and delegate care as needed to effectively manage clinical situations. **Job Requirements:** **Education/Skills:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. **Experience:** - 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related nursing specialty preferred. **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** - Current AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification required. - Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications required. - RN License in the state of TX or compact. **Position Requirements:** - All newly hired experienced RNs must complete New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - Participate in precepting with a designated trained staff member and complete required competency validations. - Fulfill annual competency verification requirements. - Previous experience in a Perinatal setting or completion of a Perinatal RN Residency is preferred. **Work Schedule:** - Days: 7AM - 7PM. - Full Time Position. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
