Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in high-risk obstetrics and possess essential certifications. The successful RN will work in a collaborative environment with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to patients during labor and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor patient vitals and fetal heart rates, implementing appropriate interventions as necessary.
- Assist with various labor and delivery procedures, including C-sections and twin deliveries.
- Engage in patient education and support during the labor process.
- Collaborate with physicians and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- At least 3 years of experience in high-risk obstetrics.
- Current certifications in Advanced EFM and AWHONN Intermediate EFM.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
