**Join Our Team as a Labor and Delivery RN!** **Job Description:** * Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of families during their most memorable moments? * Join us as a Labor and Delivery Nurse and become a vital part of transformative experiences! **What You'll Do:** * **Independent Practice:** Utilize your nursing skills in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of patient needs and situations. * **Complex Care:** Deliver both routine and complex care while focusing on long-range goals and plans. * **Clinical Leadership:** Lead with confidence by making appropriate assignments and delegating tasks to manage clinical situations effectively. * **Comprehensive Nursing Care:** - Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care. - Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. * **Medication Administration:** Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. * **Documentation:** Keep accurate records of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. * **Patient Education:** Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers. **Qualifications:** * **Education:** Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. * **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in related nursing specialty preferred. * **Licenses & Certifications:** - Certification in AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) required. - Current NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications required (AHA only). - RN License in the state of TX or compact required. * **Additional Requirements:** - New RNs to attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - Complete initial onboarding requirements and annual competency verification. - Perinatal RN Residency or recent practice in a Perinatal Setting preferred. **Work Schedule:** * 7AM - 7PM, Full Time **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
