Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred
• Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Ability to work holidays and weekends as needed
• Comfort using electronic health records and charting systems

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Support safe, compassionate care for mothers and newborns
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Respond to changing patient conditions with professionalism, critical thinking, and clinical skill
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the charting system
• Follow unit protocols, safety standards, and best practices at all times
