Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Strong assessment, triage, patient education, and maternal-newborn care skills
• Ability to work night shifts and perform effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and communicate changes promptly
• Assist with admissions, assessments, interventions, and routine Labor & Delivery unit procedures
• Support safe, family-centered care throughout the birthing process
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
