Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Mother/Baby Couplet Care in Greeley, Colorado. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for postpartum and newborn patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers and their infants.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a compact RN licensure. BLS certification is required. Experience in the specialty area for which he or she is applying is desired. Clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area must be maintained and demonstrated through annual validations.
- Additional certifications or continuing education may be required based on the area of practice.
- Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months in the specialty area.
- Experience at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital, BTMC Behavioral, Banner Home Care/Hospice, Boswell Skilled Nursing Facility, or Banner MD Anderson requires specific fingerprint clearance cards maintained throughout employment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field is preferred. Professional certification in maternal and newborn nursing is also preferred.
