Job Description:

Seeking an RN with experience in Interventional Radiology to work in the Radiology Pre and Post Procedural area. The position involves pre-operation and recovery of patients post-conscious sedation and general anesthesia, requiring ICU and/or neuro IR experience.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-op and recovery of patients undergoing conscious sedation and general anesthesia
• Collaborate with IR techs, CT, nuclear medicine, and US techs
• Work in 5 Angio rooms, 2 CT scanners, US, and nuclear medicine settings

Requirements:

• Must have neuro IR experience and Level I trauma experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam and complete SIMs Lab for specific nursing skills
• Ability to maintain a sterile field and pass fail exams on Day 1 of orientation
• Must adhere to appearance and conduct guidelines, including natural hair color and no facial piercings
