3x12 hour shifts (08:00 - 20:30) with every other weekend required.
Job Description
Seeking an experienced IMC RN for a high-acuity unit. Candidates should possess strong IMC/ICU level experience. First-time travelers are welcome, provided they have the necessary qualifications. Responsibilities include delivering advanced patient care, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Manage IV and pulmonary care for patients, including BiPAP/CPAP and ventilator management.
- Assist in procedures such as chest tube insertions and lumbar punctures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of IMC/ICU nursing experience required.
- Active RN license in Maryland or Compact State required.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI.
- Experience with the Epic charting system is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-acuity medical and surgical patients.
