Job Description:
The RN in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is responsible for providing patient care to critically ill adult and pediatric patients. This role requires advanced clinical assessments, executing critical nursing interventions, and monitoring complex medical equipment in a high-acuity setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to ICU patients, maintaining a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including a 24-hour intensivist, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; PALS and CCRN preferred.
- A minimum of two years of ICU nursing experience.
