• Healthcare Setting: Acute care intensive care unit

ICU RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in critical care, high-acuity nursing, or intensive care preferred
• Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond confidently to changing patient needs
• Meditech experience is a plus
• Willingness to float to Med Surg if needed

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and perform interventions in alignment with ICU standards
• Assist with central lines, intubation, and other common critical care procedures as applicable
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective treatment plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold unit policies and best practices
• Contribute to a positive team culture built on communication, reliability, and patient-focused care
