Shift & Position Details
- Shift Time: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12 hours, 36 weekly guaranteed hours)
- Position Type: Contract (13 weeks)
- Staffing Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3
- Unit Details: 30-bed Adult Intensive Care Unit (AICU) treating sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psych disorders
- Equipment: Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, EV 1000
- Charting System: Epic
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs (no hoodies or non-Franciscan sweatshirts)
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS
- Key Skills & Competencies: Comprehensive assessment skills, care of septic patients, and care of mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices (CRRT and Epic experience preferred)
Duties & Schedule
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend commitment (Friday and Saturday nights)
- Float Requirements: Floating required to other inpatient areas when the home unit is low census
