Job Description:

The RN is responsible for providing comprehensive care in the ICU unit, performing duties within the scope of practice permitted by the nursing license and regulated by the state of Arizona.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and titrate critical care drips including pressors, paralytics, and sedation.
• Provide care for post-surgical and cardiac patients, including those with STEMI, PCI, and VAD devices.
• Interpret ABGs and monitor telemetry monitors independently.
• Float to PCU and MST as required.
• Participate in Rapid response and code blue response as part of the team.

Requirements:

• ACLS and BLS Certification required.
• Proficiency with EKG interpretation and troubleshooting ventilator equipment.
• Experience with critical care equipment such as BIPAP, CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula.
• Experience with Prismaflex CRRT and IABP preferred.
• Successful completion of dysrhythmia exam before contract signing.
