Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a travel assignment. This role involves providing advanced critical care for patients in a high-acuity environment, ensuring quality patient outcomes. The position requires adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, with shifts scheduled during nights.

- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

- Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license, at least 2 years of ICU experience, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, familiarity with Epic charting system, experience with patient ratios of 1:4-5, ability to manage arterial lines, chest tubes, ventilator care, and other critical care procedures
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a Trauma Level I or Level II environment, experience with complex equipment such as CVVHD/CRRT, and familiarity with interdisciplinary support services
- Additional Information: Candidate must complete required on-boarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing, and all compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start date. The assignment involves floating to Med/Surg or Emergency Room as needed, with a maximum of 7 days of return to office (RTO) per contract.
