Job Summary:
This position is for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing critical care services in a 20-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:2. The assignment begins on 08/31/2026, and the schedule includes daytime shifts of 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have two years of current critical care experience, with additional certifications and licenses as specified.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of current critical care experience, Massachusetts Registered Nurse license (must be uploaded with profile), American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Additional Information:
- Must be willing to float to progressive care unit as needed.
- Must have own vehicle; this is a firm requirement.
- Perm address must be uploaded with profile; the organization will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility to avoid delays.
- All scheduling requests (including time off) must be made at the time of submission; requests made after a job offer or during the interview process will not be approved.
- Travelers should include their Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency license (Nursing Pool) with their submission.
- Travelers with Voicemail setup and availability for contact are preferred to avoid communication delays.
- Candidates must be willing to work on holidays and weekends as needed.
