Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a healthcare organization. This position involves providing specialized critical care to patients during night shifts, with a focus on managing complex medical cases and supporting patient recovery. The role requires flexibility to float to Medical/Surgical units if needed and is suitable for experienced ICU nurses seeking a short-term assignment starting in September 2026.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; occasional day shift coverage
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of current ICU / Critical Care experience
- Previous travel experience highly preferred
- BSN degree highly preferred
- Work history demonstrating ICU or Critical Care skills
- Supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment
- Active certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Current licenses and certifications, all current at time of submission
- Permanent address must be included in the submission file
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous travel experience
- BSN degree
- Additional Information:
- Must be willing to float to Medical/Surgical units when needed
- No local candidates; candidates' permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- Housing options can be a challenge; travelers should explore housing options prior to submitting
