Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) with specialty in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in Moses Lake, Washington. This role involves functioning as both a caregiver and care manager, providing comprehensive patient assessment, implementing care plans, and overseeing clinical staff. Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, current Washington State RN Licensure, Healthcare Provider (HCP) Level of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, and possess or obtain certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within specified timeframes. Experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred, with a minimum of one year experience for specialty nursing departments. Ability to perform assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; critical thinking skills; crisis management; and proficiency in equipment listed on department-specific checklist.
  • Preferred Qualifications: RN certification in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM), and additional unit-specific certifications.
  • Additional Information: The RN may be required to function as a Charge Nurse, delegating and coordinating patient care activities. The position involves frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds, and responding to high-stress situations involving acutely ill patients. The role demands sharp assessment skills, effective communication, and emotional stability to manage intense clinical environments.
