Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-quality acute inpatient care to critically ill adult patients within a busy medical, surgical, abdominal/lung transplant, and trauma intensive care environment. The position requires delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to some of the most complex cases in a safe and supportive setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, totaling 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a nurse or equivalent credential, current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an acute care inpatient setting or current ICU experience. At least 1 year of travel nursing experience necessary.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for critically ill adult patients, proficiency in ICU procedures and equipment, and certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Additional Information: The unit, known as the Blake 12 ICU, is an 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal/lung transplant, and trauma intensive care unit, staffed by a multidisciplinary team skilled in managing highly complex critically ill patients. The position has a start date of 08/30/2026 and an end date of 11/28/2026, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
