Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights Located in a healthcare facility, this role involves managing a mixed-acuity environment with primarily medical-surgical patients and occasional higher-acuity assignments. The position supports a 13-week contract beginning 09/07/2026, with a focus on providing quality patient care during the night shift while managing change effectively in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: MI RN license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, Associate Degree or Certificate, minimum 2 years of medical-surgical experience, and comfort with intermittent ICU-level care.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to Medical-Surgical (MS) unit if needed.
  • Additional Information:
    • Unit features a mixed-acuity environment, primarily managing medical-surgical patients with occasional higher-acuity cases.
    • Medical-Surgical ICU ratio is 1:2.
    • Good candidates are resilient, able to manage change independently, and complete tasks efficiently.
    • Scrubs of any color are acceptable.
    • During orientation week, GSA (Government Services Administration) not applicable.
    • Contract is eligible for up to 36 hours of unbillable low census hours, with travelers potentially being put on call for low census periods. Call-back minimum is 2 hours, and call-back hours count toward the low census hours.
    • Holiday rotation is every other holiday, and interview days are Monday through Friday.
