Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing position based in Arlington Heights, IL. This role involves providing specialized critical care in a 36-bed ICU setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 or 2-3 depending on patient acuity. The position requires delivering comprehensive patient management across neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical units. The assignment begins on 08/30/2026, with a scheduled end date of 11/22/2026, and typically involves 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour Day shifts, 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: IL License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification, 2+ years of strong ICU experience, experience with EPIC charting, travel experience preferred

- Additional Information: This ICU has 36 beds divided into neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical units. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:2 or 2-3 depending on acuity. Candidates must submit an updated resume, a skills checklist completed within the past 12 months, one reference completed within the past 12 months, and verify IL license prior to orientation. Orientation sessions are held every other Wednesday, with the next scheduled on 08/26.
