Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing critical care to patients with complex medical needs, including those requiring ventilator management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring. The position requires working night shifts on a 12-hour schedule, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 09/08/2026 and ending 12/08/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, and 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump), Prismaflex CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), strong EKG reading skills, ventilator troubleshooting and weaning, and extensive critical care experience across multiple ICU areas.
- Float: Float rotation may be required across ICU and PCU units, including EC ICU or other areas as needed.
- Additional Information: Nurses should be able to interpret ABGs and titrate all critical care drips such as pressors, sedatives, antiarrhythmics, and anticoagulants. The unit maintains a 24/7 intensivist presence with NP (Nurse Practitioner) support and RT (Respiratory Therapy) coverage. Telemetry monitors are in use, and nurses are expected to manage their own monitor strips. The orientation includes general hospital training plus unit-specific preceptorship.
