Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care within the ICU setting, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, supervise ancillary staff, and support patient recovery and discharge planning.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift. A minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience in critical care is highly desired. Previous experience in an ICU setting is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Critical care experience preferred.
- Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, develops individualized care plans, and participates actively in patient education and discharge planning. Maintains accurate documentation and ensures patient and environmental safety following hospital policies. Provides direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, contributing to a positive team environment. Assumes charge responsibilities post-orientation as requested and actively pursues ongoing professional development.
