TRAVEL - RN - ICU (650) - HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge - 6P - 6A

Floor: 1 & 2 (we have 2 pods)
Pod A is a recent expansion, opened 1/24/19 and consists of 12 beds. Pod B (on the second floor) contains 16 beds.
1 charge, number of nurses depends on census/acuity, critical care tech staffed 6 days a week, 0900-2100
1 charge, number of nurses depends on census/acuity, critical care tech staffed 6 days a week, 0900-2100
Typically 1:2, can be 1:1 or 1:3 depending on acuity - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed
–Pyxis, Plum Pump IVs, Client bedside monitors, Nelcor, Artic Sun, Sub Zero
Skill Set Most recruited for: (, local CNAs and sitters)
: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience
: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Neuro surgical, Trauma (level III, going to level II this year), cardiac arrest, resp arrest, ETOH/Drug WD, all vented patients come to the ICU at our facility.
Flexibility, willingness to jump in and help team

Variety of nursing staff in terms of years of experience, some have been here 20 years. We just opened our new 12 bed ICU expansion to allow us to care for 28 ICU patients. Will undergo level II trauma survey this year. Our Intensivists are 24/7 and are the best doctors I have worked with in my 18 year of nursing. They are patient, willing to teach and respectful of our staff. The ICU staff are welcoming and appreciative of our travelers. HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge average census ranges from 100-125.
