Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in Baltimore City. This role involves providing direct nursing care to critically ill patients within a high acuity ICU environment. The position requires monitoring and assessing patients using advanced medical equipment, administering medications and treatments, performing invasive procedures, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans. The ICU Nurse will also be responsible for maintaining detailed documentation and adhering to infection control protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, three days per week, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule includes rotating shifts with no more than every other weekend, possibly every third weekend, and rotating holidays.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Nursys license, professional licensure or certification, driver's license or state ID, professional profile, 2 professional references, and a current resume.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Certified in CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), 3 years of experience in ICU setting.
- Additional Information: The patient care team operates within a 16-24 bed ICU, providing care for high-acuity patients. The unit emphasizes teamwork and excellent communication among staff. Precepting duties may be required. The role begins on 09/14/2026 and concludes on 12/13/2026, with a possibility of the schedule rotating based on staffing needs.
