Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Tyler, TX 75701
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with block scheduling. Weekend coverage required (6 shifts per 6-week period). Patient ratio 1:2.
Highlights:
- Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds and average daily census of 14 patients
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and phlebotomy
- Epic charting system with 12-hour orientation provided
- Advanced critical care environment with CRRT (NXXT Stage) and full range of ICU equipment
- 91-day travel assignment with one pre-approved time off period
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS; NIHSS and PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, and blood product administration
- Must reside outside designated local counties (restrictions apply)
- Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
