Home Healthcare Registered Nurse (RN) position in Portland, Oregon, and surrounding areas. This role involves providing specialized home health care services to adult and geriatric patients. The position is suited for RNs with at least one year of skilled home health experience, and the facility prefers candidates with a current Oregon and Washington licensure. The assignment begins on 09/21/2026, with a standard daytime shift of 8 hours, minimum 40 hours per week.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8-hour days, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 09/21/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Oregon and Washington licenses, BCLS certification, at least 1 year of skilled home health experience, no experience required for first-timers, local candidates within a 50-75 mile radius accepted, open to both permanent and travel healthcare professionals.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with Epic electronic charting systems, and home health patient care.
- Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for adult and geriatric wound care, medication management, start of care assessments, discharge planning, recertifications, wound care, IV therapy, and infection control practices. The role entails occasional travel within approximately 60 miles daily, with minimal windshield time due to grouped client visits. Candidates must have their own transportation. The COVID-19 vaccine is not required; Oasis certification is mandatory. No on-call responsibilities are required. The RN may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities. Full compliance includes completion of pre-start modules and adherence to scheduling and RTO policies.
