Job Summary:
Gastroenterology Laboratory (GI LAB) specialist position located in a healthcare facility. The assignment is scheduled for 9 weeks, beginning on 09/21/2026 and ending on 11/23/2026. The role involves working in preoperative and phase II post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) during daytime shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in gastroenterology or related laboratory work; valid state license (compact license preferred).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in GI LAB, previous experience with sedation and endoscopy procedures, familiarity with charting systems.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to other units or facilities.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have current ACLS and BLS certifications and experience with endoscopic procedures, sedation management, and specimen handling. Candidates should be prepared to work during scheduled holidays and have the ability to float as needed.
