Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the emergency room setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vitals and provide timely interventions as needed.
- Document patient interactions accurately and promptly using the Epic charting system.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
- Active state license(s) and all required certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Experience with both adult and pediatric patients.
- Proficiency in using the Epic charting system is preferred.
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing the contract.
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only.
- Must be willing to float within designated hospitals based on staffing needs.
