Travel RN – Weekend Schedule
📍 Location: Iowa
🌙 Shift: 10:30 AM–11:00 PM
⏰ Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week | 3×12s
📅 Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
💰 Pay Period: Monday–Sunday
Position Overview
The RN will provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse will also provide patient education and direct the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Iowa RN license
- Experience preferred but not required
- BLS/BCLS required
- ACLS required – AHA
- PALS required
- TNCC required
Required Documentation
The agency must provide all required documentation at least 5 business days before the contract start date, including:
- Updated resume
- 2 recent employment references
- RN license verification showing expiration date and disciplinary history
- Copies of BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC certifications
- Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates:
- Child Abuse
- Dependent Adult Abuse
Health & Immunization Requirements
- MMR: 2 doses or positive titer
- Varicella: positive titer or 2 vaccines
- Polio documentation
- Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination
- Current TDaP within 10 years of start
- Flu vaccine during flu season (Oct. 1–Mar. 31)
- Negative 2-step Mantoux within 1 year or QuantiFERON Gold
- Physical examination within 1 year
- 10-panel drug screen within 1 month of start
- Respiratory Fit Test within 1 year
- Criminal background check covering applicable states from the past 7 years
- National/State Sex Offender check
- GSA/SAM.gov verification
- OIG verification
Additional Pre-Start Requirements
- Complete CareLearning education modules before start
- Mandatory Reporter training will be included in modules if the candidate is not already certified
- All employment and health requirements must be fully cleared before first-day instructions are issued
