• Orientation: Bi-weekly orientation with structured onboarding

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong clinical skills in emergency assessment, triage, and patient prioritization
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency care environment
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required if not otherwise specified
• Supervisory reference from within the last year required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency patients with a wide range of conditions and acuity levels
• Perform rapid assessments, triage patients appropriately, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support timely treatment
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and support urgent interventions as needed
• Document patient care accurately in Epic and maintain strong communication throughout the shift
• Deliver compassionate care to adolescents, infants, adults, pediatric patients, and geriatric patients
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient emergency department workflow
• Support a team culture focused on responsiveness, teamwork, and excellent patient outcomes
