Summary
Join our dynamic team with WCS Healthcare Partners as a Registered Nurse in the Electrophysiology Lab in Rochester, NY. Responsibilities
- Perform electrophysiology lab procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and cardioversion.
- Manage and assist with the insertion and programming of AICDs and pacemakers.
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation, emergency medications, and IV vasopressors.
- Conduct baseline measurements, conduction studies, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias.
- Assist with central line insertion/management and left atrial appendage closure.
- Ensure infection prevention and adhere to isolation precautions/PPE.
- Utilize Micropace system for ablations and scrub procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
- Ability to place IVs and perform phlebotomy.
- NY license must be in hand at the time of application.
