Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nursing opportunity available in a hospital setting. This assignment is designed for experienced Emergency Department (ED) nurses seeking a backfill position for a duration of approximately six months. The role involves working nights with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment, adhering to all clinical protocols and safety standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or proof of class with date applied, must be in packet, minimum of 2 years of ER experience, and EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience from the past 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of in-unit emergency nursing experience required; previous travel experience also required (1 travel assignment suffices).
- Additional Information:
- IVS to offer
- Monday to Sunday schedule
- No block schedules for any reason
- Bi-weekly orientations on Monday
- Must be flexible with holiday schedule; required to work 2 out of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
- Reliable transportation strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November to April
- Ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained
- Complete work history information required for submission
