Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) nights and every other weekend (EOW) schedule are needed for a facility with a 65-bed emergency department. The unit serves a diverse patient population, including pediatric and mental health patients, with an average daily census of 230 visits. The role involves providing quality patient care across various clinical settings within the emergency department.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts only, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 09/20/2026 through 12/19/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Active license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Must have two years of emergency nursing experience, along with general ED nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, electrocardiogram (EKG), cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The unit operates in a pod-based facility with specialized pediatric and mental health areas. Clinical responsibilities include assessment, documentation, and patient education in a high-volume emergency department utilizing the electronic medical record system EPIC ASAP.
