Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in the area. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule. The RN will care for both inpatients and emergency department patients, integrating skills across medical-surgical and emergency settings.
Job Details:

- Required Qualifications: Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); associate degree or certificate; 2-3 years of emergency room experience; charting experience with Epic EMR required; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required, including to infusion therapy clinics for medication co-sign/break relief if needed.
- Schedule: Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The unit is a 16-bed inpatient unit with inpatient, observation, hospice, swing bed services, and a 4-bed emergency department with three exam rooms. Nurses will care for both inpatient and emergency patients. During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccinations are required to wear masks at all times per policy. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with extended ED boarder patients.
