Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing urgent care services to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for a broad range of clinical duties, ensuring patient safety and quality care delivery.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 09/08/2026 and ending on 12/08/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license, at least 1 year of ER or emergency department experience, proficiency with electronic medical records (preferably Epic), and certifications including BLS.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Trauma Level I or II, community hospital experience, and recent ER experience within the last 6 months.
- Responsibilities: Triage, patient assessment, emergency medication administration, handling rapid patient turnover, and collaborative patient care.
- Additional Information: The RN will manage a patient ratio of approximately 1 nurse to 6-8 patients, with competencies in emergency procedures, medication administration, and triage.
