Job Summary:
Emergency Room Specialty position located in Renton, Washington. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced trauma center setting. The position requires expertise in Epic electronic medical records, trauma experience, and certifications including ACLS, BLS, ENPC, NIHSS, and PALS. The shift is rotating, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts, and candidates must have at least 2 years of ER experience and 1 year of trauma experience.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotation shifts, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week, with every other weekend requirement.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS, BLS, ENPC, NIHSS, and PALS. Must have 2+ years of ER experience, 1+ year of trauma experience, and prior travel experience. Candidates must have Epic experience within the last 2 years.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level 3 trauma center, fluency in providing culturally competent care, and familiarity with high-acuity patient care.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The unit operates with a dedicated triage area, separate psych/seclusion rooms, 55 beds and 8-12 swing beds, and supports a diverse patient population. In-house security manages patient safety, with a patient volume of approximately 250 patients per day. The ER includes advanced equipment such as vents, Cpap, BiPap, and high-flow oxygen devices. Candidates should be comfortable with Critical Care transport, ECGs, phlebotomy, and working in a dynamic, trauma-level environment.
