Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a central region of California. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency environment. The RN will supervise and coordinate with various levels of nursing staff while collaborating with other healthcare disciplines to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift from 07:00 to 19:30, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; emergency room experience preferred; RN licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate from an approved vendor required; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification required; AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required; AHA-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ARC-PALS certification required; AHA-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or ARC-NALS certification required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an emergency care setting.
- Additional Information: The assignment duration is from 09/08/2026 to 12/07/2026, with a start date of 09/08/2026. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant ER experience, though no minimum experience is explicitly required.
- Responsibilities include assessing patient health status, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating with healthcare team members, educating patients and families, and participating in discharge planning.
