Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) position in a Level 1 trauma and stroke center. This role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency department serving all age groups. The assignment begins on 09/09/2026 and runs through 12/09/2026, offering a challenging environment with a variety of urgent and complex patient cases.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of ER experience, Epic charting system experience, certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma experience, large facility experience, and experience with arterial line management, ventilated patient care, and management of multisystem organ failure.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between like units based on skill set.
- Additional Information: Must have EPIC experience and previous large facility trauma experience. Candidates should be prepared to work three of the five major holidays and provide all scheduling requests upfront.
- Travel Compliance: Candidates must have at least one year of recent ER experience, and references covering the last three years are required.
- Licensing & Approvals: Pending license accepted with quick start preferred. No local candidates eligible.
- Commitment: Candidates should not contact facility directly unless scheduled. The assignment requires flexible scheduling with possible coverage at sister facilities.
