Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Arlington, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered emergency care within a 54-bed emergency department. The contract duration is from September 15, 2026, to December 15, 2026, with scheduled night shifts. Candidates will be expected to manage a fast-paced environment with a team of healthcare professionals, delivering essential emergency services in accordance with facility protocols.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified as a Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); current state licensure as a registered nurse; minimum of 0 years of ER experience; located within a reasonable distance to the facility
- Preferred Qualifications: Over 2 years of ER experience; experience with Meditech electronic health record (EHR) system; strong prioritization and time management skills; team-oriented personality with good patient care skills
- Additional Information: The role requires a team player with the ability to handle high-pressure situations, participate in rotating weekends, and be flexible with occasional on-call shifts. Candidates must adhere to the unit's dress code, typically royal blue scrubs, and follow all unit policies and guidelines.
