Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse position in a healthcare facility's adult/pediatric emergency department. This contract offers an opportunity for experienced ER nurses to provide high-quality patient care across multiple campuses, including adult and pediatric trauma, ambulance triage, and ED holding units. The role requires adaptability and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum 36 hours per week, from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026.
- Required Qualifications: 1 year of emergency room experience; active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH (National Institutes of Health) certification; WA Registered Nurse license; EPIC electronic charting experience; references covering relevant employment within the last 3 years, including at least one supervisory reference; must float to all 7 campuses: Ballard, Cherry Hill, Edmonds, First Hill, Issaquah, Mill Creek, and Redmond.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
- Additional Information: Orientation involves 2 days (1 virtual and 1 in-unit). Virtual orientation modules take approximately 22 hours and are scheduled every other week, with clinicians required to be partially compliant 2 weeks prior. After virtual modules, a unit orientation will be scheduled based on RN availability. Returning employees must have been separated from any Providence/Swedish facility for at least 6 months. Candidates must be vaccinated against COVID-19 unless approved for medical or religious exemptions, which require facility approval.
