Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Brownsville, Texas. This role involves providing quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The position requires collaboration with medical staff to assess patient needs, prioritize care, and ensure patient safety while maintaining high compassionate standards.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification, 1 year of Emergency Room experience, valid Texas location requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with additional ER experience are considered first.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Demonstrates ability to perform specific clinical competencies as listed on the competency validation checklist(s). Ensures patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with privacy regulations. Utilizes the nursing process for patient care, documents all patient interactions, and demonstrates critical thinking skills. Promotes teamwork and customer service initiatives. Completes mandatory education and complies with all hospital policies and patient safety protocols.
