**Join Our Team as a Travel RN in the Emergency Room!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Emergency Department (ED) - **Address:** 3901 W 15th St, Plano, TX 75075 - **Floor:** 1st - **Building:** B Tower **About the Unit:** - **Number of Beds:** 38 (including trauma bays, burn room, psych room, vertical treatment area) - **Dynamic Team:** Variable staffing based on volume and acuity, always includes a free charge. - **Staff Composition:** RN, advanced paramedic, EMT, unit secretary. - **Patient Ratios:** Flexible, adapting to acuity and volume. - **Equipment:** Standard emergency and trauma tools. - **EMR System:** Meditech. **Typical Hiring Profile:** - **Must-Have Skills:** - BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC - SAMA, CPI, or equivalent (assistance and grace period provided) - **Preferred Skills:** - ENPC **Typical Procedures:** - Certified chest pain management - Comprehensive stroke care - Level 1 trauma response - Accredited burn treatment **Ideal Personality Fit:** - Easy-going and flexible - Positive attitude with a “patient first” philosophy **Required Certifications:** - Texas RN licensure or compact license eligible - BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS **Floating Area(s):** - None, however, cross-training may occur for sister facility (Medical City Frisco). **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color/Attire: Royal blue scrubs (preferably branded) **Scheduling Information:** - **Self-Scheduling:** Enjoy the flexibility of self-scheduling. - **Weekend Requirements:** 4 weekend shifts per month. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
