• Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• MEDHOST experience preferred
• Trauma nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced emergency care environment
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups
• Assess, monitor, and prioritize patient needs in a busy Emergency Department
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support timely, effective patient care
• Operate emergency department equipment and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Respond quickly and professionally to changing patient conditions and urgent situations
• Support a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment
