Job Description:
Registered Nurse in a Charge position for the Emergency Department providing care in a high-volume, Level I Trauma and Stroke Center.
Responsibilities:
- Perform charge nurse duties in a Level I Trauma Center.
- Coordinate patient care activities and interdepartmental communication.
- Ensure compliance with all patient care standards and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center, 1-year experience in ER setting.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC within 90 days certifications.
- Proficiency in Cerner documentation system.
- Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED and provide real-time coaching.
