Job Summary:
The Electro Physiology Lab (EP Lab) position is located in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized cardiac procedures in a dedicated laboratory setting. The candidate will work a daytime schedule, performing a variety of complex interventions and ensuring quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift with 10-hour shifts, working 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: RN license; 1 year of experience in an Electro Physiology Lab.
- Preferred Qualifications: RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist), RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), RT (R) (Radiologic Technologist with Cardiovascular specialization).
- Float: None.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include assisting with ablations, device placements, Watchman procedures, loop recorders, and other advanced electrophysiology interventions. The work environment is equipped with X-ray, PACS, Cardio Lab, Istat, ESI, Carto, Arrhythmia, Cryo technologies, and uses Cerner EMR. The position is a contractor replacement with one opening available, scheduled to start on 09/07/2026. The unit maintains a patient ratio of 1:1, with a staff of 17 members, and operates on a 10-hour day shift schedule from 7 am to 5:30 pm, four days a week, with occasional late stays and weekend duties every 6 weeks.
